Eugene "LIFESTAT" Pressley , Born October 30 1987(age 23) In Gordon Heights, Long Island, a suburb of New York. Best known as “Stat” Or “StatBack”,this young emcee has been in the underground Hip-Hop Scene since 2001, Being featured on numerous Long island Compilation Albums and Mixtapes. Lifestat is one of the most recognized and sought out emcees on the Long Island Underground Hip-Hop scene since the age of 16. HIs most successful Project to date is his 2009 duo debut album with fellow VMR Member “Nyte” with there first release “Life@ Nyte, which was Fully Produced By Hit maker himself “ Stigmata”. Growing Up in a blue-collar suburb of Mastic, New York, Lifestat is best recognized for his consistency of thought provoking ,non-watered down lyrics , which is somewhat hard to find in this new generation of HIp-Hop. Being and remaining REAL is an understatement for this emcee. His style can somewhat only be described as Jazzy, Boom-Bap, Story Telling music , that has never been compromised or settled for a more commercial appeal,which critics say is the reason why he has lasted in the underground scene for so long. On March 25 2011,LifeStat released his debut solo project entitled the “Back2School (mix-album) for digital download which also was fully Produced by fellow VMR member Stigmata, gaining both artists great notoriety in the online market. It's very important when creating his music to stay true to his roots and where he came from,which you can see throughout this project. Being an emcee who a lot of people say hasn't nearly reached his prime yet, I cant even imagine what LifeStat will sound like when he reaches that platform of his career........Stay Tuned to LifeStat’s next Official Mixtape Entitled “ Tree of Life “ due out mid 2012 distributed thru Vinyl Music Records.
