So I new i needed to find some time when I started this remix. 6 revisions later I knew I was on to something. At that point I had basically just meshed together all the ideas and treatments I had already started in the previous remixes and made them all work. Ellie Goulding is a talented artist that has an awesome voice. If you want to see her real talent make sure you search her on youtube and hear some of her other original work. She has many acoustic performances where her vocal talents really show off and she even plays some guitar on them too.. So please check out my Ellie Goulding "Lights" Remix. It incorporates a little bit of all of my recent influences.. It has some hip hop, dubstep, trance, and even some glitch qualities in it that make this a real calm crazy remix track. How the Ellie Goulding "Lights" Remix was made:

The ellie goulding remix for this track was made in FL Studio using a number of sounds/samples and a few Vsti's. The virtual instruments used were ElectraX, Nexus 2, NI Razor, and Massive.. After the remix was assembled I then arranged, mixed, and mastered the remix in Pro Tools.
