BTGI Productions - Making of "In For The Kill" Instrumental Beat
BTGI Productions - Making of "In For The Kill" Instrumental Beat
Let me just start by saying that people and "Professionals" do not give Image-Line Fl Studio enough credit for what it is capable of. Now i do not do my mixing in FL Studio. I do that in Pro Tools.. But over all FL Studio is one of the most user friendly and powerful pieces of producing software in my opinion.. It got a bad name when it was first out as fruity loops because it was a cheap way for people to make shitty drum beats with shitty stock sounds that came with the software. Now it is a powerful producing engine that rivals any other software when it comes to the actual creation of instrumental / dubstep / electronic music..
So in this video I take you on a little tour though FL Studio and of how I layed out and created this instrumental. The vocal sample is absolutely ridiculous and complements the instrumental perfect. I originally recorded the full 60 minute session that it took me to get to this point but like a dumb ass i had the audio settings in camtasia set up wrong so all i got was the video and no sound.. (I was bummed because this process was crazy.. It showed so many aspects of my style of production)
I hope you enjoy and maybe even pick of some ideas to explore by seeing some of what i did..

100%
Cool, I really like how you created that beat. You sure use a lot of the plugins I see on fl studio, your even giving me some better ideas. Keep up the good work fam.
