"Back when we started messing with production just before our College days we never knew that we would take it to this level". Music has always been on my mind. Whether it was jamming out on the guitar with my father and friends or being pent up in front of my computer for days trying to learn how to use Pro Tools, Reason, Fruity, and cubase, I have always had a strong passion for music. The growl of the synth line in an crazy hip hop beat. The thump of that 808 when it hits the sub. The snare hitting so loud in the car that is causes a little uncontrollable blink in your eyes. All of those aspects and more have always drawn me to music. I knew from a young age that it would always be a big part of my life. I think the first rap beat I made was probably back in the 90's and I can assure you that it was garbage! A lot of time and hard work invested, a couple of decent placements and I knew I was on my way to doing something I loved every day. I have came a long way since that day and can proudly say that I am learning and growing musically every day and do not plan on stopping anytime soon. For these hip hop instrumentals that you are listening to, buying, and downloading I mainly use Pro tools, M Audio Key Controller, NI Maschine (Although I usually use that for most of my sampled beats that you don't hear on this site) Yamaha Motif, and a bunch of VSTI's. Once I get bored with those I think i am soon going to invest in the M Audio Venom and hopefully the Access TI V2.
